Notification reduces or exempts excise duty on specified iron and steel tariff headings by prescribing nil or reduced rates in the Table, conditioned on use for particular manufacturing purposes, proof to an Assistant Collector, and adherence to the procedural safeguards set out in Chapter X of the Central Excise Rules, 1944.
