Rescission of notification ends prior central excise exemption under statutory rule, issued by government order. The central government, exercising powers under the Central Excise Rules, has rescinded Notification No. 67/87, thereby withdrawing the earlier central excise tariff exemption by government order dated 17 March 1987.
