These committees consist of two Commissioners of Central Excise and are designated for specific jurisdictions. The notification lists various jurisdictions across India, detailing the respective Commissioners responsible for each area. This arrangement is intended to facilitate the review process under subsection (2) of section 35B of the Central Excise Act. Subsequent amendments and substitutions to this notification have been made through various notifications up to 2010.
