of <h1>Interest Rate Set at 15% Annually Under Section 27A of Customs Act 1962, Superseding Previous Notification</h1> The notification issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, fixes the rate of interest at fifteen percent per annum under section 27A of the Customs Act, 1962. This supersedes the previous notification No. 32/95-Customs (N.T.) dated 26th May 1995, except for actions taken or omitted before the supersession. The notification is identified as No. 36/2000-Customs (N.T.) and is dated 12th May 2000.
