of <h1>New Exchange Rates for Export Goods Effective April 1, 2000, Under Customs Act, 1962</h1> This notification establishes the exchange rates for export goods for April 2000, as determined by the Central Government under the Customs Act, 1962. It supersedes the previous notification dated February 24, 2000. The exchange rates for various foreign currencies into Indian Rupees are detailed in two schedules. Schedule I lists individual currency rates, such as the US Dollar at 43.45 INR and the Euro at 42.40 INR. Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of certain currencies, such as the Japanese Yen at 40.60 INR. The notification takes effect from April 1, 2000.
