of <h1>Central Government Rescinds Multiple Finance Ministry Notifications Under Rule 8, Central Excise Rules 1944, Effective March 1988.</h1> The Central Government, exercising its authority under sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, has rescinded several notifications issued by the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue). The rescinded notifications include No. 25/67 dated March 4, 1967, No. 122/86 dated March 1, 1986, No. 129/86 dated March 1, 1986, and No. 234/86 dated April 3, 1986. This action pertains to miscellaneous exemptions under the Central Excise Tariff, effective from March 1, 1988, as outlined in Notification No. 128/88-C.E.
