of <h1>Central Government Amends Notification No. 53/88-C.E.: Updates to Serial Nos. 09 and 39 in Excise Rules Table.</h1> The Central Government has issued an amendment to Notification No. 53/88-C.E., originally dated March 1, 1988, under the Central Excise Rules, 1944. In this amendment, changes have been made to the table annexed to the notification. Specifically, in Serial No. 09, the figures '3905.20' are replaced with '3905.90'. Additionally, in Serial No. 39, within clause (i) in column (5), the word 'and' at the end has been replaced with 'or'.
