of <h1>Government Extends Validity of Excise Notifications 462/86-C.E. and 463/86-C.E. Under Rule 8(1) Until 1990 and 1988</h1> The Central Government has extended the validity of two Central Excise notifications. Notification No. 462/86-C.E., originally set to expire on March 31, 1988, is now extended to March 31, 1990. Similarly, Notification No. 463/86-C.E., also initially expiring on March 31, 1988, is extended to June 30, 1988. These amendments are made under the authority of sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, as directed by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
