of <h1>Excise Tariff Rates Amended: Serial Nos. 24(i) & 25(i) Revised from Rs. 500 to Rs. 715 per Tonne</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 89/88-Central Excises, dated March 1, 1988, under the Central Excise Rules, 1944. The amendment involves changes in the tariff rates listed in the notification. Specifically, the rate in Serial No. 24(i) and Serial No. 25(i) has been revised from 'Rs. 500 per tonne' to 'Rs. 715 per tonne' in the table annexed to the original notification.
