of <h1>Customs Notification Amendment: Changes to District Listings in Karnataka, Including Mangalore Port, Effective April 2000.</h1> The notification amends Notification No. 27/97-Customs (N.T.), dated 7th July 1997, under the Customs Act, 1962. Effective from 1st April 2000, it modifies the areas listed in the notification, specifically replacing entries in serial No. 17 with a list of districts in Karnataka, including Mangalore Port. This amendment affects the whole of the areas in the districts of Uttar Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu, Hassan, Chikmagalur, Shimoga, Belgaum, Bijapur, Udupi, Gadag, Dharwad, Koppal, Bellary, Raichur, Bagalkot, Gulbarga, and Bidar.
