of <h1>Amendment to Excise Rules: Explanation IX Clarifies Aggregate Value Calculation for Polymer Sacks and Bags.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 175/86-C.E., dated March 1, 1986, under the Central Excise Rules, 1944. The amendment introduces Explanation IX, clarifying that for calculating the aggregate value of clearances of specified goods such as sacks and bags made from polymers of ethylene or propylene under heading No. 63.01, the value of clearances of plastic strips used within the factory for weaving or manufacturing these sacks and bags will not be considered. Additionally, in the Annexure, the figures '5605.20' are replaced with '5605.90.'
