of <h1>Central Government Amends Excise Rules: Changes to Notification No. 43/88-C.E., Adds Proviso on Goods Used Outside Factory</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 43/88-C.E., dated March 1, 1988, under the Central Excise Rules, 1944. The amendment replaces the term 'pesticides falling under Chapter 38' with 'goods falling under Sub-heading No. 3808.10' in the opening paragraph. Additionally, a proviso has been added, stating that if the goods are used outside the factory of production, the exemption will be granted only if the procedure outlined in Chapter X of the rules is followed.
