Key amendments include the addition of Diethylene glycol terephthalate and Diglycol terephthalate for in-factory use in polyester chip production, inclusion of goods under sub-heading No. 6910.00, and imitation jewelry. Non-wooden furniture exemptions have been defined, and ad valorem rates for certain items have been adjusted from two to five percent. Plaster of Paris moulds and refractory containers have been added as ceramic products, and a 15% ad valorem rate has been reduced to nil for specific items.
