of <h1>Central Government amends Notification 121/85-Central Excises to increase marble levy rates under rule 96ZX by 15.</h1> The Central Government has issued an amendment to Notification No. 121/85-Central Excises, dated May 8, 1985, under rule 96ZX of the Central Excise Rules, 1944. This amendment updates the compounded levy rates for marble, replacing the previous rate of 'rupees two hundred and fifty' with a new rate of 'rupees two hundred and sixty-five.' This change is documented in Notification No. 91/89-C.E., dated March 1, 1989, by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
