<h1>Electronic cargo declaration procedures established for imported goods requiring authorized agents and specific timing requirements</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs issued regulations under the Customs Act, 1962, establishing electronic declaration procedures for imported goods at Delhi Airport. The regulations define authorized persons as licensed Custom House Agents or importers with Import Export Code Numbers who can submit electronic bills of entry through the Customs Computer System. Cargo declarations must be submitted at designated service centers between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on working days, with data entry completed by 5:30 p.m. The system allows electronic lodgement through National Informatics Centre networking facilities. After assessment completion, authorized persons must obtain three print-out copies, sign them, and present them with duty payment challans and supporting documents for goods examination and clearance approval by customs officers.
