Validity to September 30, 1990, Under Central Excises and Salt Act</h1> The Central Government has extended the validity of Notification No. 207/87-C.E., originally issued on September 9, 1987, by amending the expiration date from September 30, 1989, to September 30, 1990. This amendment is made under the authority of Section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944, and Section 3 of the Additional Duties of Excise (Goods of Special Importance) Act, 1957, in the public interest. The amendment is formalized through Notification No. 173/89-C.E., dated September 1, 1989, by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
