of <h1>Central Government Rescinds Notifications No. 36/86 and No. 202/87 Under Section 5A(1) of Excises Act 1944</h1> Notification No. 23/90-C.E., dated March 20, 1990, issued by the Central Government under section 5A(1) of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944, rescinds two previous notifications: No. 36/86-Central Excises dated February 10, 1986, and No. 202/87-Central Excises dated September 9, 1987. This decision, deemed necessary in the public interest, will take effect on May 1, 1990.
