The amendments involve changes to specified quantities in the original notifications. For Notification 138/86, the figures '7500 tonnes' and '24,000 tonnes' are replaced with '16500 tonnes' and '33,000 tonnes,' respectively. Similarly, for Notification 139/86, the figure '24,000 tonnes' is replaced with '33,000 tonnes.' These changes are made in the public interest as per the government's directive.
