of <h1>Government Amends Excise Notifications; Changes Include 'Natural' Omission and New Pricing for Polyester Fiber Waste.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification Nos. 253/82-C.E., 65/87-C.E., and 47/90-C.E. under the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944, in the public interest. In Notification No. 253/82-C.E., the word 'natural' is omitted from S. No. 10. For Notification No. 65/87-C.E., the entry for S. No. 11 is changed to '5% ad valorem.' In Notification No. 47/90-C.E., various entries are substituted, including specifications for nylon monofilament yarn and pricing adjustments for polyester staple fiber waste. A new entry for polyester staple fiber waste is added at Rs. 5.00 per kilogram.
