of <h1>Amendment to Notification No. 66/90-C.E. adds new exemptions for tool and training centers under Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 66/90-C.E. under the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944, to include additional exemptions for certain entities. The amendment, dated 17th September 1990, adds three new entries to the exemption list in the original notification dated 20th March 1990. These entries are the Tool Room and Training Centre in Delhi, the Government Tool Room and Training Centre in Bangalore, and the Institute of Training and Tool Room of Uttar Pradesh in Lucknow. This amendment is made in the interest of public necessity.
