of <h1>Amendment to Central Excises and Salt Act: Soya Milk Entry Updated to Include Sweetened or Flavored Varieties Under Section 5A.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 103/90-C.E., dated May 16, 1990, under the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944. This amendment, effective from January 2, 1992, involves changes to the specified goods listed under Chapter 22. In the table annexed to the original notification, the entry for 'Soya milk' under S. No. 2 in column (3) is now replaced with 'Soya milk including sweetened or flavoured soya milk.' This amendment is made in the public interest under the powers granted by Section 5A of the Act.
