This appointment allows the Commissioner to exercise powers and duties for adjudicating matters related to a Show Cause Notice issued to a company and others by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Delhi Zonal Unit. This notice, dated November 27, 2008, was originally under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Customs (Import) at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Maharashtra.
