of <h1>Excise Duty Rates on Glass Sheets Amended Under Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944, Effective February 28, 1993.</h1> The notification amends Notification No. 68/87-C.E. to update excise duty rates on specific glass sheets, effective from February 28, 1993. The amendments, issued under the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944, modify the rates per millimetre thickness per square metre for various categories. For S. No. 01, items (a) and (b) are updated to Rs. 4.60 and Rs. 4.30, respectively. S. No. 02 is set at Rs. 4.60, S. No. 03 items (i) and (b) are Rs. 18 and Rs. 30, S. No. 04 is Rs. 36, and S. No. 05 is Rs. 18.
