of <h1>Central Government Amends Excise Notifications 51/93 & 52/93: Adds New Entry, Removes Others for Public Interest.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notifications No. 51/93 and No. 52/93-Central Excises, dated 28th February 1993, under the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944. For Notification No. 51/93, a new entry, S. No. 21, covering all goods under tariff headings 85.01 and 85.02, has been added. For Notification No. 52/93, S. No. 5 and its related entries have been removed. These amendments are enacted in the public interest and are effective as of the date specified in Notification No. 95/93-C.E., dated 27th September 1993.
