of <h1>Rescission of 1990 Notification on Electric Generating Sets Under Section 5A of Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944.</h1> The Central Government has rescinded Notification No. 168/90-C.E., dated December 18, 1990, concerning electric generating sets. This action is taken under the authority of sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944, as the government deems it necessary in the public interest. The rescission is formalized through Notification No. 96/93-C.E., dated September 27, 1993, issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
