of <h1>Government Amends Excise Notifications to Reclassify Household Articles, Excluding Pressure Cookers, Under Chapters 76 and 73</h1> The Central Government has issued amendments to Notifications No. 180/88-C.E. and No. 41/94-C.E. under the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944, to modify the classification of certain goods under Chapters 76 and 73. The amendments specify that for both notifications, the entry for table, kitchen, or other household articles and parts thereof, excluding pressure cookers and their parts, will replace the existing entry in the respective tables. These changes are deemed necessary in the public interest and are detailed in Notification No. 66/94-C.E., dated March 9, 1994.
