of <h1>Excise Duty Changes: Concessional Duty Withdrawn for Printing Frames under Heading 84.50; Exemption for Textile Frames under Heading 59.09</h1> The Central Government has issued Notification No. 99/94-C.E., dated May 2, 1994, under the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944, amending previous notifications to adjust excise duties. The concessional duty on printing frames under Heading 84.50 has been withdrawn. However, printing frames for textiles under Heading 59.09 are now exempt from duty, provided they are used within the factory of production or another factory of the same manufacturer, following the procedure outlined in Chapter X of the Central Excise Rules, 1944. These amendments are deemed necessary in the public interest.
