of <h1>New 10% Ad Valorem Duty Imposed on Man-Made Knitted or Crocheted Fabrics Under Sub-Heading 6001.12</h1> The Central Government, under the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944, and the Additional Duties of Excise Act, 1957, has issued Notification No. 100/94-C.E. dated May 4, 1994. This notification imposes an additional 10% ad valorem duty on knitted or crocheted fabrics made from man-made textile materials under sub-heading 6001.12. Amendments to previous notifications, specifically No. 33/94 and No. 63/94 dated March 1, 1994, are made to reflect this change. The amendment substitutes the existing entries with the new duty rate for all goods under the specified sub-heading.
