of <h1>Central Government Rescinds 1994 Notification on Rubber Balloons Under Section 5A of Central Excises Act</h1> The Central Government has rescinded Notification No. 97/94-Central Excises, dated April 25, 1994, concerning rubber balloons. This decision, effective June 22, 1994, is made under the authority of sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944, as it is deemed necessary in the public interest. The rescission is formalized through Notification No. 115/94-C.E. issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
