of <h1>Amendments to Notifications 21/2002 and 23/2002: New Entries for NTPC Gas Turbines and Zero Duty on Paraxylene.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notifications 21/2002 and 23/2002 under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 and the Customs Act, 1962. For Notification 21/2002, new entries have been added to include several Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plants of the National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd in various states. For Notification 23/2002, an entry has been added for 'Paraxylene' with a nil rate of duty. These amendments aim to address applicable sales-tax, local tax, or other charges on similar goods sold or purchased in India.
