of <h1>Amendments to Notifications 69/93-C.E., 48/94-C.E., and 53/94-C.E. introduce changes for lasers and entry omissions.</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944, has issued amendments to Notifications Nos. 69/93-C.E., 48/94-C.E., and 53/94-C.E. These amendments involve the omission of specific words and figures in the opening portion of Notification No. 69/93-C.E., and the addition of new entries for 'Diode Laser' and 'Excimer Laser' in its table. For Notification No. 48/94-C.E., certain serial numbers and their entries are removed. In Notification No. 53/94-C.E., a particular entry in the table is omitted. These changes are deemed necessary in the public interest.
