of <h1>Government Amends Excise Notifications: Changes to Trade Fair Authority and Indian Ordnance Factories under Section 5A.</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944, has amended several notifications in the interest of the public. Notification No. 215/84-C.E. replaces 'Trade Fair Authority of India' with 'India Trade Promotion Organisation.' Notification No. 70/92-C.E. adds 'Indian Ordnance Factories belonging to the Central Government' to its table. Notification No. 7/94-C.E. omits serial number 5 and its entries, while Notification No. 43/94-C.E. omits serial number 2 and its entries. These amendments are effective as of March 16, 1995.
