of <h1>Excise Duty Exemption for Goods Supplied to SANGRAHA Programme Under Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944, Until July 2002.</h1> The Central Government, under the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944, has amended Notification No. 64/95-Central Excises to exempt all goods supplied for the SANGRAHA Programme under the Ministry of Defence from excise duties. This exemption is contingent upon presenting a certificate from the Programme Director, confirming the goods are intended for the SANGRAHA Programme, before clearance. This exemption is valid until July 1, 2002, after which it will not apply.
