The amendment, effective from May 13, 2002, involves a change in the Table of the original notification. Specifically, the entry against Serial No. 4 in column (2) is replaced with '0406.90.' This modification is made in the public interest, as stated by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue. The principal notification was previously amended on April 11, 2002, by Notification No. 37/2002-Customs.
