of <h1>Government Rescinds Customs Notification 22/2002 Under Section 25 of Customs Act 1962 in Public Interest</h1> The Central Government has rescinded Customs Notification No. 22/2002, dated March 1, 2002, through Notification No. 51/2002-Customs, dated May 13, 2002. This action is taken under the authority of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962, and is deemed necessary in the public interest. The rescinded notification was initially published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) as G. S. R. 119 (E). The decision was formalized by the Under Secretary to the Government of India.
