<h1>Ceiling Limit for Annual Clearances Raised to Rs. 15 Lakhs Under Rule 174A of Central Excise Rules, 1944</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 11/88-C.E. (N.T.) to increase the ceiling limit for annual clearances required to obtain a central excise license from Rs. 10 lakhs to Rs. 15 lakhs. This amendment is made under the authority of rule 174A of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, and is detailed in Notification No. 11/90-C.E. (N.T.). The change will take effect on April 1, 1990.
