of <h1>Amendment Aligns Anti-Evasion Directorate Ranks with Central Excise Under Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944</h1> Notification No. 30/90-C.E. (N.T.), dated 27th July 1990, amends Notification No. 215/86-C.E. under the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944. Issued by the Central Board of Excise and Customs, this amendment revises the table within the original notification. The revised table aligns the ranks of officers in the Directorate General of Anti-Evasion with those in Central Excise. The new designations include Director General as Principal Collector, Additional Director General as Collector, Deputy Director as Deputy Collector, Assistant Director as Assistant Collector, Senior Intelligence Officer as Superintendent, and Intelligence Officer as Inspector.
