Special duty of excise: Modvat notification amended to cite Finance Act provisions and update provisos. Amendment substitutes clause (iic) and revises clause (2) of the first proviso to refer to the special duty of excise leviable under the Finance Act, and inserts an express reference to levy under the Finance Act into the third proviso, effectuated under rule 57A of the Central Excise Rules, 1944.
