Credit rate increase for central excise adjustment after amendment resulting in higher per kilolitre credit entitlement. The Central Government, exercising powers under the Central Excise Rules, makes a limited amendment to Notification No. 231/87-C.E. by substituting the words and figures quoted in clause (b) of that notification with new words and figures, thereby altering the prescribed per kilolitre credit amount under the original notification.
