of <h1>Rule 57A Amendment Expands Modvat Benefits to More Excise Tariff Headings Under Notification No. 62/94-C.E.</h1> The Central Government, under rule 57A of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, has amended the notification No. 24/94-Central Excises (N.T.) dated May 20, 1994. The amendment extends Modvat benefits to additional headings in the Central Excise tariff. Specifically, for Sl. No. 4, the heading '51.03' is expanded to include '51.06,' and for Sl. No. 20, the heading '55.06' is expanded to include '56.04' and '56.06.' This change is formalized under Notification No. 62/94-C.E. (N.T.) dated October 21, 1994.
