of <h1>Changes to Consumer Welfare Fund Rules: New Committee Leadership and Rule 6 Amendment</h1> The Consumer Welfare Fund (Amendment) Rules, 1995, amends the Consumer Welfare Fund Rules, 1992. The amendments specify changes in the composition of the committee overseeing the fund. The Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs, and Public Distribution is designated as the Chairman of the Committee, and the Joint Secretary in charge of the Consumer Welfare Fund becomes the Member Secretary. Additionally, in sub-rule (6) of rule 6, the number 'four' is replaced with 'three.' These amendments take effect upon publication in the Official Gazette.
