of <h1>Amendment to Notification 11/96: Modvat Credit for Yarns and Fibres Date Changed to September 1, 1996.</h1> Notification No. 19/96-C.E.(N.T.), dated July 31, 1996, issued by the Central Government under sub-rule (2) of rule 57A of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, amends a previous notification (No. 11/96-Central Excises (N.T.)) dated July 23, 1996. The amendment changes the effective date for Modvat Credit on yarns and fibres, on a deemed basis, from August 1, 1996, to September 1, 1996, in the interest of public necessity.
