of <h1>Amendment to SEZ Notification: Correction of Letter of Approval Date for IT Services SEZ in Uttarpara.</h1> The Central Government has amended the notification S.O. 1052(E) dated 24th April 2009, regarding the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for information technology and IT-enabled services at Uttarpara, Kolkata, West Bengal. The amendment corrects the date of the Letter of Approval from 25th June 2008 to 14th July 2008. This amendment is issued under the authority of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and the SEZ Rules, 2006, by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
