of <h1>Approval Committee Formed for Gems and Jewellery SEZ Under Section 13 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the Gems and Jewellery Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Kharadpada, Naroli, in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. This committee is formed under the powers granted by Section 13 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The committee includes members such as the Development Commissioner of the SEZ as Chairperson, and representatives from various government departments, including the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, and Finance. Additionally, officers from the local government and a representative from the developer, M/s. Omnibus Industrial Development Corporation, will participate.
