<h1>India Revises Tariff Values: Brass Scrap Set at $2623/MT; No Change for Palm Oil, Palmolein, Soybean Oil</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 55/2009-CUSTOMS (N.T.) on May 29, 2009, amending Notification No. 36/2001-Cus (N.T.) dated August 3, 2001. This amendment revises the tariff values for certain goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The revised table lists tariff values for crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, other palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, other palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, and poppy seeds. Notably, the tariff values for palm oil, palmolein, and soybean oil remain unchanged, while the value for brass scrap is set at $2623 per metric tonne.
