of <h1>Central Government forms Approval Committee for IT and IT-enabled services under SEZ Act 2005, including key industry representatives.</h1> The Central Government, under the Special Economic Zones Act 2005, has established an Approval Committee for the IT and IT-enabled services sector at Gandhinagar-Sarkhej Highway, Gujarat. The committee is chaired by the Development Commissioner of the Special Economic Zone and includes members such as the Director or Deputy Secretary from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, and representatives from Customs, Income Tax, and the Ministry of Finance. Additionally, two officers from the Government of Gujarat and a representative from the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation are involved.
