of <h1>Inland Container Depot for IT SEZ in Hosur designated under Section 7 of Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Central Government has designated May 4, 2009, as the effective date for the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for information technology and IT-enabled services at Viswanathapuram Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu. This SEZ, to be developed by a corporation, is recognized as an Inland Container Depot under Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962, pursuant to the powers granted by Section 53(2) of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005.
