of <h1>Inland Container Depot for IT Services Established in SEZ under Customs Act, Effective May 4, 2009</h1> The Central Government, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, has designated May 4, 2009, as the effective date for the establishment of an Inland Container Depot (ICD) for information technology and IT-enabled services within the Special Economic Zone at Shijra Kilabandi, Village and Tehsil-Badshahpur, District-Gurgaon, Haryana. This SEZ, developed by a private company, will be recognized as an ICD under the Customs Act, 1962, facilitating customs operations and enhancing logistics for IT services.
