of <h1>Amendment to Customs Act Notification Grants Deemed Export Benefits for Power Projects in Madhya Pradesh and Kerala</h1> The Central Government, under the Customs Act, 1962, has amended Notification No. 50/2000-Customs to include deemed export benefits for the supply of goods to Vindhyachal Super Thermal Power Project Stage-II in Madhya Pradesh and Kayamkulam Combined Cycle Power Project in Kerala. This amendment, effective from 19th November 2001, is in the public interest and aligns with the Government of India's Public Notice No. 18(RE-01)/1997-2002, dated 7th June 2001. The notification was initially published on 27th April 2000 and has been amended previously on 14th November 2000.
