Deemed Inland Container Depot status: sector-specific IT/ITES SEZ recognized under customs law for regulatory effect. The Central Government, under sub section (2) of section 53 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, deems the sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and IT Enabled Services at Tadakanapalli, Kurnool, developed by M/s. Raagamayuri Builders Private Limited, to be an Inland Container Depot for purposes of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962, thereby conferring the customs regulatory status of an Inland Container Depot on that SEZ.
